{"id":273,"date":"2010-10-31T14:17:10","date_gmt":"2010-10-31T13:17:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/joernhees.de\/blog\/?p=273"},"modified":"2010-10-31T14:17:10","modified_gmt":"2010-10-31T13:17:10","slug":"daylight-saving-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joernhees.de\/blog\/2010\/10\/31\/daylight-saving-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Daylight saving time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, you&#8217;ll have noticed, in Germany the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Daylight_saving_time\" target=\"_blank\">daylight saving time<\/a> striked once again&#8230; as per <a href=\"http:\/\/slopjong.de\/2010\/10\/31\/clock-change\/\" target=\"_blank\">Romain<\/a> I was reminded that many people have a problem remembering when the time is changed in which direction, so here comes my mnemonic (&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/ithinkispider.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">donkey bridge<\/a>&#8221; \ud83d\ude09 ):<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s just the same as with <strong>garden furniture<\/strong>. In <strong>summer<\/strong> you put them in <strong>front<\/strong> of your house, in <strong>winter<\/strong> you put them <strong>back<\/strong> in your cellar.<\/p>\n<p>So this means the time was shifted back one hour from 3 am to 2 am this morning.
